Panic Attack Therapy

Cambridge, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds

A panic attack occurs when your body experiences a sudden rush of intense psychological (mental) and physical symptoms. It usually reaches a peak fairly quickly, within a few minutes.

You may experience an overwhelming sense of fear, apprehension and anxiety. As well as these feelings, you may also have physical symptoms such as:

  • Nausea
  • Breathlessness
  • Dizziness
  • Feeling of choking
  • Sweating
  • Trembling
  • Palpitations

The number of panic attacks you have will depend on how severe your condition is.

Panic attacks can be very frightening and intense, but they're not dangerous. An attack won't cause you any physical harm, and it's unlikely that you'll be admitted to hospital if you've had a panic attack. However, they can pose a significant problem to those who experience them.

I work with my clients in systematically addressing the underlying reasons, and enable them to overcome their fears.

I design both physical and mental solutions to develop strength and confidence. Invariably I send clients away with homework and specific tasks to achieve. The solutions exist. I will help you achieve them.
